Eating for Energy means eating more whole organic foods that come from Nature and less processed foods. These foods include more vegetables, nuts, legumes, fish, hormone free and antibiotic free chicken, beef and tofu.
When we eat real food that comes from Nature, we feed our body the energy it needs to operate at peak performance.
For thousands of years we ate whole foods. Our bodies know how to process them. However, only in the last 40 years did we start consuming large amounts of chemicals, pesticides, and plastic foods manufactured by man instead of Nature.
By feeding your cells live, whole foods, you provide them with live energy that enhances their health, vibrancy, and operation. Your metabolism increases, your energy rises, and your mental and physical health improves.
Start eating the foods you were born to eat and you will feel the difference.
HIGH ENERGY FOODS: You want to make sure, you eat high-energy foods to boost your mood, your energy, and your brain health. Remember to stay away from processed foods such as candy bars, refined flour, refined sugar, cookies, and food made in factories.
HIGH ENERGY OMEGA-3 ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS: They are called essential because your body doesn’t make them. Try to incorporate some of these suggestions: Wild Alaskan Salmon, walnuts, flaxseeds, fish oil.
HIGH ENERGY VEGGIES: These are some of my favorites, avocados, dark leafy greens, garlic, red peppers.
HIGH ENERGY FRUITS: These are few of my favorites that will enhance your energy: Be Berry happy with Blueberries, bananas, oranges, raisins, acai berries.
HIGH ENERGY PROTEIN, LEGUMES, NUTS: Foods with protein and fiber help us to sustain our energy and blood sugar level throughout the day. Here are few to enjoy: Eggs, peanut butter or almond butter, nuts such as walnuts, almonds, and cashews. Eat a handful a day to increase your energy and health. Yogurt helps you absorb other vitamins and nutrients into your cells, boost your immune system, fights bacteria, and helps keep your intestinal tract healthy. Garbanzo beans aka chick peas; they are rich in the best source of fiber- soluble fiber- so they help to eliminate cholesterol from the body.
HIGH ENERGY CHOCOLATE TREAT: Dark chocolate really is a health food……in small amounts, of course. It has antioxidants, phenols, and flavonoids that may improve heart health and your mood.
FOOD TIP: ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR INNER GUIDANCE TO EAT WHAT FEELS GOOD FOR YOU. EAT WITH AWARENESS.
